LINK appoints Joseph Haddad as Executive Director

LINK, the Bermuda-based reinsurance broker has announced the appointment of Joseph Haddad as Executive Director effective January 2025.

Mr. Haddad, is an industrial engineer from the University of Massachusetts, has held engineering positions in the manufacturing of Jet Engine Blades in the USA, in Desalination and Power plant projects in the UAE as well as project management positions related to maintenance and overhauling of industrial valves in the petrochemical industry.

Later, over the span of 27 years, he has gained an extensive reinsurance experience as a facultative underwriter with Cologne Re/Gen Re, as a Vice President/Senior underwriter in Swiss Re’s engineering team and as the founder of his own reinsurance brokerage and risk management firm.

The broker highlighted in a statement that Mr. Haddad’s appointment to LINK’s management will reinforce the company’s facultative capabilities within its non-life business and further its commitment to offering business partners ‘Competence that Makes a Difference.
