BREITLING MIDDLE EAST LAUNCHES CAMPAIGN WITH LOCAL AMBASSADORS AND PARTNERS’ FIRSTS IN LINE WITH “140 YEARS OF FIRSTS”
Breitling is proudly celebrating 140 years of groundbreaking achievements and incredible firsts, solidifying its reputation as a leader in precision timekeeping for air, land, and sea. From developing the first wrist-worn chronograph to pioneering modern aviation watches, Breitling has consistently pushed the boundaries of innovation. In addition to these technical milestones, the brand has also made significant strides in sustainability, committing to responsible sourcing, eco-friendly materials, and a transparent supply chain that aims to reduce its environmental impact.
As part of the global “140 Years of Firsts” campaign, Breitling Middle East has launched a special local initiative that highlights the achievements of its regional ambassadors, partners, and friends. The social media campaign pays tribute to the these individuals —whether they are trailblazers in their industries, advocates for positive change, or champions of their communities.
Participants in the campaign included longstanding brand ambassador Jessica Kahawaty, Lebanese Australian model, philanthropist, former TV host and beauty pageant titleholder who has been a prominent Breitling ambassador for many years. Another distinguished local ambassador, Dr. Dina Al Tayeb, is the first Arab woman and Saudi national to qualify for and complete the Ironman World Championship.
The campaign also featured an inspiring lineup of individuals who represent Breitling’s values of innovation, excellence, and firsts in their respective fields:
- Dr. Eng. Suaad Al Shamsi, the first Emirati female aircraft engineer
- Shawn Chidiac, stand-up comedian and content creator
- Amanda Rushforth, board member at Azraaq Marine Conservation and sustainable fashion advocate
- Mishaal Al-Sudairy, pilot, travel author and board member of the Saudi Aviation Club
- Wolfgang Hohmann, founder of Wolfi’s Bike Shop
- Scott Chambers, founder and managing director of Surf House Dubai
Commenting on Breitling’s 140-year anniversary campaign in the Middle East, Breitling Middle East Managing Director, Aed Adwan said: “it’s a monumental year for Breitling as this year marks brand’s 140th anniversary.
