Vogue Arabia and GQ Middle Easthave joined Condé Nast’s owned portfolio operations in Dubai, alongside Architectural Digest Middle East (AD) and Condé Nast Traveller Middle East. To lead the titles, Manuel Arnaut and Amine Jreissati have been appointed Heads of Editorial Content for Vogue Arabia and GQ Middle East, respectively, and will begin publishing across digital platforms soon, with print to follow later this quarter. Thomas Khoury, the company’s Managing Director of the Middle East region, led the transition for both titles, having previously been published under license since 2016 (Vogue) and 2018 (GQ).

From Anna Wintour, Chief Content Officer, Condé Nast

“We are fortunate that Manuel and Amine, two incredibly gifted and creative editors, will be leading our titles. Their taste, judgment and journalistic experience are a huge benefit and the way they have elevated the contributions of artists and designers in the Middle East to the global stage has been tremendous. We are thrilled that they will guide and grow Vogue Arabia and GQ Middle East.”

About Manuel Arnaut, Head of Editorial Content, Vogue Arabia

Arnaut has been at the helm of Vogue since May 2017 and under his leadership, the brand has solidified its role as a leading fashion authority through its content across digital and social platforms and live events. With more than 15 years of experience in media, Arnaut previously held senior positions at AD Middle East, where he oversaw the launch of the magazine in 2015 as editor-in-chief. He started his career with Vogue Portugal and GQ Portugal.

About his appointment Arnaut offered, “With this transition, Vogue Arabia will continue to be the leading title in the Arab market, while connected to a global network that broadens the reach of our publication. Through qualitative print, engaging digital, and blockbuster events, we will amplify and prioritize Arab voices and fashion, now even more exposed to a broader audience.”
