African Reinsurance Corporation (Africa Re) is the leading Pan-African reinsurance company and the largest reinsurer in Africa. Ken Aghoghovbia is the Deputy Managing Director/Chief Operating Officer of African Reinsurance Corporation. He has worked in different capacities in the Corporation since 1985. He was the pioneer Regional Director of Africa Re’s West Africa Regional Office in 2009 and played a pivotal role in the turnaround of both the African Oil and Energy Pool and the African Aviation Pool. Mr. Aghoghovbia holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Insurance and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration. He is also a fellow (FCII) of the Chartered Insurance Institute (UK). He has been a member of various regional professional bodies and has participated as a guest speaker in several national and international industry forums and conferences.
