and upgrades, Al Faris Group recently completed 2 major power plant expan-
¯.…OÉ°üàb’G ™jƒæàdG sion and upgrade projects within the UAE.
Recently we assisted in the relocation, transportation and erection of massive
2022 (ôjGÈa) •ÉÑ°T - 603 O~©dG - ájOÉ°üàb’G ¿É«ÑdG structures which are the biggest of its kind in the mining world. The challenge
was having to re-locate the entire structure in one piece without dismantling;
the heaviest being 2100t and longest being 128m.
* What will be your future plans?
- We own the largest fleet of cranes and heavy equipment in the Middle East
region and are always on the look out for growth opportunities in the MENA
region.
Sustainability is also key and core focus at Al Faris Group. We have invested
in around 1300 solar panels on our facility roof and a sustainable washbay
where we save 110000 gallons of water every year. We are currently working
on initiatives to reduce, re-use and recycle our waste material. Our ultimate
goal is to decarbonize our fleet for which we work together with our suppliers
who are intensively investing in the development of cranes that will not any-
more run on diesel.
