The laureates are selected by the&nbsp;<em>Acad\u00e9mie du Troph\u00e9e Chopard<\/em>, reflecting the Maison\u2019s commitment to the transmission of artistic values.&nbsp;<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>For this new edition, Caroline Scheufele is honoured to welcome Isabelle Huppert as Godmother.&nbsp;An&nbsp;internationally&nbsp;acclaimed actress, Isabelle Huppert embodies artistic freedom, intellectual rigour and fearless creativity.&nbsp;She will&nbsp;present&nbsp;laureates&nbsp;Odessa A\u2019zion and Connor Swindells&nbsp;with the prestigious prizes.&nbsp;The ceremony will take place at Carlton Beach on 15 May 2026, during an official dinner of the Cannes Film Festival, in the presence of Iris Knobloch, President of the Festival de Cannes, and Thierry Fr\u00e9maux, General Delegate, who will co-host the evening alongside Caroline Scheufele, before an audience of actors, cinema professionals and creators.<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Isabelle Huppert, an uncompromising figure of world cinema<\/strong>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-left wp-block-paragraph\">Isabelle Huppert has built an extraordinary body of work that traverses auteur cinema, major international productions and the theatre stage. A two-time Best Actress award winner at the Cannes Film Festival \u2014 for&nbsp;<em>Violette Nozi\u00e8re<\/em>&nbsp;(1978) and&nbsp;<em>The Piano Teacher<\/em>&nbsp;(2001) \u2014 she is also a C\u00e9sar, Golden Globe and BAFTA laureate, and has been nominated for an Academy Award. Most recently, she starred in&nbsp;<em>Marty Supreme<\/em>&nbsp;alongside Timoth\u00e9e Chalamet, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Tyler, The Creator.
