Walmart is preparing to Create its own Crypto

Walmart is setting foot in the world of crypto and NFTs, filings with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office reveal.

The retail giant is keen to join the metaverse, with documents showing they intend to make and sell virtual goods such as electronics, toys and sporting goods.

Walmart’s cryptocurrency plans were the subject of a high-profile hoax last year, which caused a short-lived surge in the relatively obscure Litecoin.
